It was like a beautiful group serenade and I think its one of those songs to listen to when you’re not feeling so great. Big thanks to Suzieuda, a BWLB reader and Twitter follower for sending this my way. ^_^

For those of you unfamiliar with this group I briefly introduced them to you during the first Battle of the Most Dramatic Music Videos by featuring their mv Love Ya. SS501 ( pronounced Double S 501. SS stands for Superstar Singer 501 Five members united as one forever) is my all time favorite South Korean boy group. They were the first K-Pop group I had ever heard of and I miss them soooo much! They formed back in 2005 and were super successful and had really crazy reality shows that involved supernatural mystery cases and stalkers. If you peep their older videos like Unlock they were totally Anime pre plastic surgery looking ^_^ They seriously have to be the nicest group of guys everrrrr. They always treated their fans with such love and respect. If their fans were waiting outside in the cold too long they would argue with their management team to let everyone in the concert arena. They always bought all their fans hot tea and there were many occasions during concerts where they would just stand and talk to their fans and break down into tears after expressing how grateful they were.
Currently all the members belong to different management companies, however each one has SS501 activities written into their contracts and they will be making a comeback!!! So who are the members of SS501?! Well the group is made up of 5 guys; Leader Kim Hyun Joong, Park Jung Min, Heo Young Saeng, Kim Kyu Jong and Maknae Kim Hyung Jun. Notice anything weird? Yes both Kim Hyun Joong and Kim Hyung Jun have verrrrry similar names! If you ever notice when us Kim Hyun Joong fans talk about him we refer to him as “Leader” that is the reason. Because their names are so similar Triple S fans (Superstar Singer Supporters) refer to them as “Leader” and “Baby”.
Quick Facts: Kim Hyun Joong played Boys Over Flowers F4 member Yoon JiHoo. Boys Over Flowers club scene with Jandi features Baby, Kim Kyu Jong and Heo Young Saeung performing their single Ur Man. SS501 sung Because I’m Stupid also featured in BOF. Baby’s younger brother is former U-KISS member Kim Ki Bum (not to be confused with SuJu member Kim Ki Bum or SHINee’s Key). I just love Key, the 20-year-old SHINee member known for his flamboyant style and charm. You may wonder where the stagename “Key” comes from. There is a Kim Kibum that existed publicly before this one, and he was once part of Super Junior (current on leave of absence). To not confuse fans and the public, SHINee Kibum decided to take on the stagename of “Key”. He also is known by another term of endearment “Almighty Key” because of incredible talent and contribution to SHINee by way of his dance, singing and rapping skills. Even though Minho is my overall SHINee bias, Key is my SHINee vocal bias. All of the other SHINee members deem Key the “omma” (Korean for “mother”) of the group, as he is always nagging and making a fuss over them with an uncanny maternal instinct.
I remember the first time I saw Key in SHINee’s “Noona Neomu Yeoppo (Older girl you’re very pretty)” video. All I could think was, “who’s the kid with the perfect face?!” Key’s looks are striking, no doubt about it. But I must confess that my affections for Key are totally platonic and big-sisterly. Something else I really appreciate about Key is that he seems to really appreciate his fans, and no matter where SHINee is in the world, he always seems to be the one member who acknowledges them with a kind smile and warm wave. He’s also known for being physically affectionate with his beloved Shawols (SHINee fans); and humbly receives their praise and adoration through gracious bows and thanks. I think it’s safe to say that Key is worldclass.
“Roar like a Buffalooo” First of all I was all like “oh I cant keep up with EXO and all their teasers cuz theres like 500 of them so I’m done posting on them until their debut MV” but this is toooo funny! Can someone please let me know what their sound is suppose to be?! I had been thinking its going to be all industrial sounding and what not since thats been the sound through out their teasers but this has totally tripped me up!
Of course its Kai (again) but also member Lay (pics below, hes hot) dancing to some Diiiirty South sounding single! I was like whoaaaaaa!! The funniest part about this whole thing is the song features SHINee’s KEY!
Between B.A.P steppin on car hoods and EXO soundin like their about to crack open a few forties and party with some booty shakers I’m convinced there is a crew of American Southern producers over there. Whatevers going on its crackin me up thats for sure!

Finally new group B.A.P (Best Absolute Perfect) has released their first MV and I gotta tell you I really like both the video and the song! Theres something very attractive about an angry Korean guy hmm.

My Final Thoughts: I can see B.A.P pushing SHINee off a stage and laughing about it. I like everything about them and there will def be a date week with them as soon as I find out more about them!

Idol contestants,audience votes, new song renditions and battles by draw selection all put together form the basics behind the show Immortal Song II. Because I’m a total Korean everything YouTube Junkie I hooked you all up with an episode of the show. You’ll notice some familiar faces like SHInee’s Jonghyun, Super Juniors Yesung and BEAST member Yoseob ^_^
This season SHINee is getting another chance to make it into the winners circle with the participation of their maknae Lee Taemin! Ohh yeahhhh we’re gonna see Taemin take already popular songs and make them his own. I know the dancing will be good because he’s got that on lock (duh!) but what about the singing? It’s not like he’s bustin out lead vocals on a regular basis. Now I know he’s been practicing his singing; hes even filled in for Jonghyun while he was M.I.A for a performance of Lucifer ( He was def earning that paycheck pssh! The way Taemin was running around that stage you would have thought he was filling in for the whole group.)
But the question is will the lights go off on him? I personally don’t think so and I’m not saying it because of my total adoration for him. Taemin really has a unique beautiful tone to his voice. I think he’ll have no problem holding his own in the competition; What does everyone else think?

Has everyone heard the news? If you havent its a good thing I’m here right? Well its been confirmed that MBLAQ will be on season 5 of ‘Hello Baby’. This info came out like 2 days ago so it’s not like its brand spankin new but I just have to talk about it. First off if you don’t know what Hello Baby is check out my post SHINee Ring Ding Dads and Dates. You might even want to watch that season because it was hilarious!
Alright so look, you’re pretty familiar with the guys of MBLAQ right? I don’t have to really go all out and start talking about their personalities do I? I mean you understand it when I say I don’t know what the frek the producers of Hello Baby are on to leave a small child in the hands of MBLAQ! Was I the only one who watched Mir practically violate a mannequin on MBLAQ Goes to School?! Is the combination of Mir and Joonie not a frightening scene of hyperactivity??!? Does leader SeungHo not have the most passive personality everrr??? I seriously doubt G.O is going to know what to do, I can already see his “duh face” . Thunder is the childs only hope if you really think about it.
I wonder if it’ll be a girl or boy; either way its doomed. If it’s a girl that might just be awkward, although Joonie can teach her ballet depending on her age. If it’s a boy he might pick up bad habits. Girl or boy Mir could teach it about animals; after all he did grow up on a farm. He’s a total country bumpkin if you didn’t know. In fact so funny he said he has an entire mountain named after him and if he’s real interested in a girl he’ll “sell a cow for her”.

This is the first installment of the “Super Junior Series”. Over the next few weeks BOAB and I will both be introducing you all to the members and activities of Super Junior because we love them! I’m gonna lead off the series with Eunhyuk and Donghae because right now I’m currently addicted to their new single “Oppa, Oppa”.
Lee Hyuk-jae: Eunhyuk – Age 25
In SuJu I have 3 bias and they are Kim Heechul, Leeteuk and Eunhyuk. I absolutely 100% love Eunhyuk. I think he is totally adorable, super sweet and he’s funny too. What I love about him is his balance of nerdy and sexy. It really annoys me how he’s said to be the most unattractive member of Super Junior…UMMM Who exactly are they lookin at cuz its def not my Eunhyuk! I can think TWO yes TWO other SuJu members that fit the bill as the most unattractive -_- You know he was even told not to smile and if he does smile cover it up because it makes him ugly. Apparently someone is off their meds because Eunhyuks smile is super adorable and so is his nose. Anywayz Eunhyuk not only sings but he’s one of SuJu’s main rappers and dancers. He is super sexy when he dances and I will even go as far as saying he’s better than Lee Taemin. If you want to challenge my assessment fine, but head to Youtube and school yourself on his skills before talkin smack ^_^ He’s hosted a number of programs, He’s best friends with JYJ’s Junsu and he’s also a member of Super Juniors sub groups M, T, and Happy.
Lee Donghae – Age 25
Donghae has to be the coolest SuJu member; he’s suave, he’s got attitude and he looks amazing in a suit. Whether he’s raising one brow and gripping a random rope around his neck (Mr. Simple MV) or holding a glowing flower while flexing his amazing arms (Bonamana MV) he’s always sexy. I still to this day cant figure out his personality but what I do know is he’s extremely talented. Not only a singer or one of SuJu’s main dancers, he’s also a songwriter and actor. He’s composed songs with One Way’s chance, acted in the dramas ‘Its ok Daddy’s girl’ and ‘Skip Beat’ and is the brand ambassador for Maxim Contact Lenses (randommm). He belongs to SuJu’s subgroup M and a funny side note; he, SHINee’s Jonghyun and F(x)’s Amber are known as the “Dino Family” for their striking resemblance not only to each other but to dinosaurs.
Both Eunhyuk and Donghae are actually best friends and together they released the single ‘Oppa, Oppa’. It’s a fun disco infused song that gets repeated a million times while I’m working out ^_^ Make sure to peep not only SuJu’s Soul Train line battle between Yesung and Ryeowook but also the random black chick the camera focuses on in the audience. Seriously I was shocked!

Oh I absolutely love 2012 already! So many new groups debuting including SM Entertainments EXO-K and EXO-M. As usual there’s a cryptic meaning behind the name so let me explain. EXO as in EXOPLANET as in stars from another planet. EXO-K for the Korean group and EXO-M for Mandarin because yes they will have a Chinese group. Now I usually don’t talk about the new groups but this one is intriguing because of their member Kai.
Its unknown at the moment if he belongs to K or M I’m thinking M although I secretly want him to be in K. Whats so interesting about this guy is not only is he absolutely gorgeous but uhh doesn’t he remind you anyone? You know who I’m talking about! That other super gorgeous guy from SM. Thats right! SHINee’s Lee Taemin!
Stats on Kai – He’s 17, over 6ft tall and he’s a well-rounded dancer in locking, popping, hip hop even ballet.

…leave the one I’m with, and start a new relationship with you, this is what you do. What is there to be said about SHINee’s leader, and oldest member Lee “Onew” Jin Ki? For one, he’s got a lot on his mind in comparison to the other four members (check out a scan of his brainmap from reality show “Hello Baby” below). With a distinct, velvety smooth voice and a smile that could light up any room, it is no wonder why this guy was chosen as one of SHINee’s lead vocalists. I was able to see Onew, 22, in person on October 9, backstage at the 2011 K-Pop Concert in Overpeck Park, NJ. Let’s just say that pictures do him no justice. In three words: tall, lean and handsome. Let’s not forget those high cheekbones, piercing eyes and pouty lips.
Onew is straight business when it comes to leading his band, and he never shirks his responsibility, even if he’s teased by the others for having the Onew Condition”. From what Onew has said in interviews, it seems that he had a very good upbringing, in which he was greatly nurtured and encouraged by his parents to be whatever he desired to be. For that reason, I get the impression that Onew is a little more open-minded and tolerant than most Korean men his age, which makes him that much more appealing (especially for us foreign women).
