[M/V] Aziatix – A Game

Aziatix is definitely steppin’ up their A game with their latest track “A Game”. Diggin’ this joint. I love the diversity of their musical style. Their single “Be With You” was more of a rock track with smooth vocals, but “A Game” shows us a more hip hop-inspired Aziatix.

What do you think is the potentiality of Aziatix making it big here in the States? Just from observing the number of their music video views from youtube, they’ve got a long way to go. What can we do to help them out?

  1. Aziatix!!!
Love me some Eddie! lol his voice is so awesome.
This sounds like an anthem for the boys in Korea Town, LA lol.
Have you seen that web series? K-town boys or something like that. It’s a hilarious web series.
Sort’ve like the Korean Entourage. But yea this sounds like a theme song for them.

  2. And yea I think they could make it in the US no problem. Far East Movement has cracked that door, now we just need someone to kick it the f*ck down. Aziatix can do that. The best way for them to make it would be through placement. TV and Movie placement. They need to get some music supervisors to put their music in tv shows. If the song gets enough notice, they could easily make transition to radio. That’s how alot of music gets on these days. Placement and being apart of a DJ’s set at the club and whatnot. That’s how “like a g6” became a big hit. I heard it in Forever 21 way before it became a huge, then started hearing it on the radio. I’m sure it also got huge play in clubs. I think Aziatix can take it much further.

  3. I think they can do make it here. With a lot of promotions, videos on MTV, VH1, Fuse, etc., TV shows and more, absolutely! 🙂

  4. Oooooooh snap! I really like this song it went right onto my youtube workout favorites. This is def worth a facebook shout out. Post it on your pages people and watch the fire spreaddddd!

  5. Glad to know I am not the only one who likes Aziatix. I thought Jiani and I had Eddie on lock…..now we have to share him 🙂 He, he!!! I think they will do well in the States. They also listened to their fans by offering an instrumental version of their cd. I wish other musicians would do the same. So far, Aziatix has one tour stop here, but with a little more exposure and interest perhaps they’ll add more tour dates and cities.

  6. I like this group! They remind me so much of Linkin Park! Aziatix songs are so nice especially one of the songs I like is called ” Be with you”. It’s a good feeling when you see our Black culture such as hip hop being used in different cultures. Flowsik is a deep rapper and Eddie Shin and Nicky Lee have powerful vocal. This group definitely going to make it! In the music scene.

  7. The only thing that supporters can do is to support them. There have been people who have been discovered through YT myspace or even in person. Those guys will also need a good music producer like Jay-Z, Lil Wayne or Usher’s mother. From what I’ve seen from some of these K-pop singers, a lot of them tend to go for the older producers and there is nothing wrong with that, but many of them aren’t producing as much as they did in the past. They need to go with producers who are spitting out hits right now.

Just because you can sing and dance doesn’t mean you will automatically get the job. I’ve looked at some of the comments on some of those K-pop sites. By the attitudes of some of them.. K-pop stars who are talented and made it other non-American countries like Germany are automatically supposed to make it the states..not. Much as I would like to see some of these guys make it here..it isn’t that simple. We are the hardest country to deal with when it comes to making entertainers. We require so many things from them. We want you to make hit all the way and if you can’t you’ll only be remembered on VH1’s One Hit Wonder show. There are a lot of famous American singers who had to go overseas an sung in those countries before they made it big in the states. There have been children of famous entertainers who haven’t made it big. That just tell you how hard our music industry is.

Very, very true. This is a tough market, more so when you’re talking about a group/act that’s foreign (and not surfacing from Britain). My friends and I were just saying yesterday how K-pop guys can walk American streets and the majority of people will not have a clue as to who they are. This group is good, but slamming down the US market is going to be a tall order. Heck, Jay Park isn’t having it easy and he was born here.

  8. “A Game” isn’t my fave song, but I’m a fan of Aziatix. I actually prefer them more than Far East Movement. FEM’s music style was much harder than it is now, but it was easier to market and sell to the masses, especially with the rise in electro-pop/hip-hop music (think LMFAO). I agree with what ATLSis said about producers but I also think good collaborations with popular artist will help them. It helped Bruno Mars–who’s half Asian (he was on tracks with BOB, Eminem, Travie McCoy) and Jay Sean–who’s British Indian (he worked with Lil Wayne, Nick Minaj, and Sean Paul) get into the American music game.
